(Faithful, Available, Teachable, Disciples of God)
 
The Student Leadership Team (a.k.a. - FATDOG's) consists of students who have a desire to grow in the Lord through discipleship and be a witness of Christ to others while exhibiting the characteristics below.
 
What does it take to be a FATDOG?

Key Verses

 1 Timothy 4:7 - "Discipline yourselves for the purpose of Godliness."
Ephesians 5:1 & 2 - "Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God."

Desired Characteristics of FATDOG's

1.   You must be born-again according to John 3:3-6.

2.   Be willing to live a life worthy of the Gospel of Jesus Christ - Phil. 1:27    
       You should be a witness on & off the field - 1 Timothy 4:12

3.   Make attending a local church a priority in your life - Hebrews 10:24-25

4.   Faithfully attend Sunday night’s leadership meeting and Team United monthly meetings.

5.   Play your sport for an audience of one - Colossians 3:23-24

6.   Make yourself available to God by reaching out to your teammates in order to have a fruitful ministry - John 15: 1-8

7.   Be faithful, available & teachable.  Make time for meetings with the staff.
          a.   Personal time - accountability, life on life ministry
          b.   Ministry time - equip leaders for evangelism & discipleship
          c.   Prayer time - making time to pray for each other & the lost
